The history of the American company started in 1954, when the veteran of the war Robert B. Daugherty bought the patent for the first pivot and established the company. Today, 60 years later the American company is market leader in the field of irrigation systems. It has 50% share of all irrigation systems in the world. It has serious growth in the popularity in 2012. Thanks to the mechanical irrigation the crop producers from USA to Russia and Asia successfully irrigate effectively and productively big areas, where the popular method of irrigation with idlers needs too much energy and the dropped irrigation is unprofitable. In the last years in the area of Russia and Romania are made massive projects with Valley machinery.
